Meet the Administrator

As the administrator for Gateway 2 Success Academy, I like to stay fresh with the latest activities and learning styles. All children learn different and at different paces. I desire for them all to feel comfortable and confident in their learning abilities. I started caring for children when I was a child myself, tutoring at the age of 9 years old. Assisting my mother in her home day care when I was 10 years old.

 

Furthering my studies in Elementary Education at Chicago State University while working as a director for an after school program in Chicago, IL. I took a break from school  to raise my children and attend the Aeronautical School for Air Traffic Controllers in Oklahoma City, OK in 2009. I worked as an air traffic controller for 12 years. During Covid-19, I decided to go back into teaching due to remote learning which required my full attention for my 3 youngest children.

 

Currently operating my child care business in Lago Vista, TX, I have decided to continue my education at The University of Phoenix in Arizona to acheive my educational leadership certifications.
